In September, the Centre brought out two circulars reducing the MRWs from 30 to 50 per cent for workers employed in six Gulf nations
 In his reply to an MP’s question in the Rajya Sabha, V. Muraleedharan, minister of state for external affairs, said that the Minimum Referral Wages (MRWs) for employment in six Gulf countries is the same now as it was in 2019-20.
Hyderabad: Gulf migrant activists welcomed the announcement of the external affairs minister regarding the restoration of minimum wage structure for Gulf workers.
