In the Narmada district, Nandod and Tilakwada received the highest rain at 132 mm and 71 mm, respectively, between 8 am and 2 pm. The Dediapada taluka in the district was also lashed by heavy showers at 47 mm.
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams have been deployed in parts of Gujarat like Kachchh, Navsari, Jamnagar, and Junagadh.
The IMD on Friday morning said there is a possibility of light to moderate spells of rainfall and thunderstorms in several states including Saurashtra and Kutch, South Gujarat region, Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, among others.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the national capital is expected to experience a cloudy sky with light to moderate rain/thundershowers today.
