We do know when the firefighters arrived here at the point they arrived, everything seemed normal. they came to the house, they took the gurney inside, as if they were expecting a medical emergency. and to bring someone out for medical treatment. that is not what happened. they suddenly all five of them at the time found themselves hostage with this man wielding some sort of firearm. so within about a half hour after that, we're hearing from residents, one of the firefighters was allowed to go free to move the fire engine away from the front of the house. we don't know exactly why. possibly so...
