Pollard Dickinson County 4-H Endowment to support his local county program, Dickinson County, Mich., as he is grateful to 4-H for encouraging him to reach his potential. Pollard was raised on a depression-era farm in Dickinson County where he was an active 4-H member. Talk About Oak Harbor: County now has 32 barn quilts LInda Hartigan The Ottawa County Barn Quilt Trail has 32 barn quilts. There is at least one in every township. Soon there will be a brochure that includes a photo of each, the name of the design and location of the barn. It also includes a map showing each barn quilt location. This will enable folks to tour the trail in the most efficient manner. The Barn Quilt Committee paused its efforts to add more barn quilts to concentrate on making the brochure available to the general public by the Memorial Day weekend.

Trail Blazers The Trail Blazers 4-H Club of Washington County, Ohio has started a Little Free Library at the Hickory Grove Laundry Mat in Vincent, Ohio. This is a library that you can take a book or put a book in to share with others. This is a nonprofit organization for anyone in the community and a community service project for the 4-H Club.
