Girl Scouts find a new way to sell cookies despite pandemic
The Guam Girl Scouts spearheaded their usual cookie sales virtually in spite of the coronavirus pandemic. “It’s been a lot easier for us because we’re younger. We know how to use technology a lot,” said Hailey Rosete, 17, part of Troop 406 in Agana Heights. It's her last year as a scout. Rosete has spent more than a decade with the program. Instead of traveling door to door, or setting up outside of retailers, the Guam Girl Scouts relied on social media and Google Forms to get pre-orders for cookies.
