1/17/21 Allegedly passing out in a pile of vomit inside the Hall Mall has led to the arrest of an Iowa City man. Passersby on the Ped Mall alerted Iowa City Police that a man appeared to be passed out in a pile of vomit at the bottom of the stairs just inside the locked Hall Mall entrance just before 10:15 Friday night. Police say the subject was responsive to fire and emergency personnel, but refused to unlock the door. A firefighter used a master key to get inside.
