Proserpine police pressed charges over several drug and alcohol related incidents in the past week, including a man who acted aggressively towards Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics.
The paramedics were attending the 44 year old’s home to check on him because of his level of intoxication.
The Cannonvale man was arrested and charged with public nuisance following the incident on Mill Street, about 5.30pm on May 23 and will face court at a later date.
Also charged with public nuisance during the week was a 27-year-old Proserpine woman who threw a beer over a 49-year-old man during an argument about 7.45pm on May 21 at the Prince of Wales Hotel.

Gloves off: MP slams lack of action on urgent road projects

A Department of Transport and Main Roads spokesman provided an update, saying funding had been allocated to both Hamilton Plains and Shute Harbour Rd.
He said $37 million had been allocated under the Roads of Strategic Important package, with $29.6 million contributed by the Federal Government and $7.4 million from the State Government.
The spokesman explained the funds had been earmarked for a flood mitigation project at Hamilton Plains and an upgrade to a section of Shute Harbour Rd, near Cannonvale.
"The Hamilton Plains project is due to start detailed design in mid-2021," the spokesman said.
The project is set to be delivered in the 2022-23 to 2023-24 financial years.

Whitsunday man's odd wake-up call leads to assault charge

The court heard he found the woman sleeping on a couch and tapped her on the head with a water bottle to wake her up.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Emma Myors told the court the woman woke up shocked and "experiencing pain".
He may have intended to find out about his lost property, but Bartlett instead ended up with an assault charge.
Ms Reynolds told the court the circumstances of the case were unusual.
"He accepts he touched her without permission with the bottle," she said.
The court heard the Hamilton Plains man was serving out a probation order placed on him in Tasmania, but no action was being taken against the order.
