Green energy manager will help Walpole tackle climate change
Mary Ellen Gambon walpole@wickedlocal.com The Walpole Select Board voted 5-0 at its May 11 meeting to enter into an agreement to share an energy manager with the towns of Norwood and Sharon, combining their resources to create a full-time position to find more ways to use renewable energy. Walpole Town Administrator Jim Johnson explained at the Select Board meeting that a $40,000 request was placed at Town Meeting to share an energy manager with the towns of Norwood and Sharon.
