Monterey rental registry ordinance draws vitriolic attacks from landlords
Landlords, property owners and real estate agents poured into Monterey City Hall Tuesday to, in some cases, lay down a hostile protest of an ordinance that if passed would set up a rental registry, a database that would publicly disclose rental prices, addresses and other data.
