द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस के मुताबिक, शुरुआती जांच में पता चला है कि चार लोगों ने कथित तौर पर अंकित की पीट-पीट कर हत्या की है. जेल अधिकारी इस मामले में उपाधीक्षक की भूमिका की भी जांच कर रहे हैं.
2015 में अंकित को किया गया गिरफ्तार
बता दें, गुर्जर को पहले सुंदर भाटी गिरोह (Sunder Bhati gang) के लिए काम करने वाला बताया गया था. उसे 2015 में नोएडा में भाजपा सदस्य विजय पंडित की हत्या के मामले (BJP member Vijay Pandit murder case) में गिरफ्तार किया गया था. वह कथित तौर पर 22 मामलों में शामिल था, जिसमें हत्या और जबरन वसूली के आठ मामले शामिल थे.
जेल अधिकारी ने मेरे बेटे को मार डाला
गुर्जर के पिता विक्रम सिंह ने आरोप लगाते हुए कहा, मेरा बेटा पिछले एक साल से तिहाड़ जेल में बंद था. उसे जेल अधिकारी ने पीट-पीट कर मार डाला. वे उससे सुरक्षा राशि के रूप में 10 हजार रुपये की मांग कर रहे थे, जो उसने देने से इनकार कर दिया. इसके बाद से ही उन्होंने अंकित को निशाना बनाना शुरू कर दिया.
मामले की जांच जारी
तिहाड़ जेल के डीजी संदीप गोयल (DG Sandeep Goel) ने बताया, मृतक अंकित जेल नंबर तीन में बंद था. वह बुधवार की सुबह मृत पाया गया. न्यायिक जांच जारी है. तिहाड़ जेल प्रशासन ने भी घटना की जांच शुरू कर दी है.
पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया शव
बता दें, अंकित बागपत जिले का रहने वाला था. उसके शव को दिल्ली के दीनदयाल अस्पताल में पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए भेजा गया है. पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही मौत के सही कारण का पता चल सकेगा.
