The now shuttered Calhoun County High School's old football field opened with a splash on May 25, 2024 during Memorial Day weekend as the 1982 Foundation and president Crystal Mersh welcomed residents from Grantsville, Calhoun County, West Virginia and beyond to the grand opening of the only swimming pool in the county.
