well, there is a broader spectrum of age on this flight than we ve ever had before in space flight. wally is five years older than john glen was. he used to have the record. and oliver is 7 years younger that s the cosmonaut that flew at 25. there is a huge wealth of perspective here, experience and life opportunity, and of course there is jeff and his brother. each of those people now needs to think about what just happened. like, they need to replay it in their mind over and over again, not just the champagne and opening the hatch, but the actual uniqueness of the human experience. and interplay that with what s coming with our technology. where is this going to take us? and then they need to try and share that with as many people as possible. they are rare amongst humans on earth right now. and if they just keep it to themselves, i think they will have squandered the entire experience. we re not sending robots. we re not sending, you know, iphones up there. these are human beings ....

Does it worry me? absolutely. sensodyne sensitivity and gum gives us a dual action effect that really takes care of both our teeth sensitivity as well as our gum issues. there s no question it s something that i would recommend. you re in zero gravity for four minutes. you come back down. we land gently on the desert surface. we open the hatch and you step outside. what s the first thing you say? i would say, honey, that was the best thing that ever happened to me. [ laughter ] that s jeff bezos talking to wally funk. she s kind of a legend. she ll be the oldest person to launch into space, joining jeff ....

Recovery crew has already minutes ago left the barn there to go open the hatch. you can see them there, they re arriving at the capsule. you can see the parachutes fell close to the capsule, means there s not much wind out there. a beautiful, beautiful day. not too shabby, gary. what do you think? picture perfect. and sounds like it landed pretty much exactly where we predicted. that s how they can get to it quickly. they start moving before it landed, based on prediction of landing. we use weather balloons we launch through the morning, gives us a good idea. what you re seeing them doing is crew member seven making sure everybody is okay, gives them a thumb s up. they re also grounding the vehicle. when you go into space, you accumulate significant electric ....

Eastern time. they ll ascend the tower and get into that capsule. the capsule can seat up to six. there will only be four people in it today. once they get the order, the hatch will be closed and lift ge off is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. eastern time. cnn s tom foreman has the details of what s in store for bezos and his fellow passengers. reporter: at blue origins arrid testing ground, it is slated to take off at 8:00 a.m. central time. just as it has already in more than a dozen test flights like the one seen here, a million horse power blast from the liquid fuelled engine will start the journey. the astronauts will be strapped into a ring of futuristic space seats. about a third of the capsule is made of windows, and the rocket will steadily rotate changing ....

Happened. they ve taken every precaution possible, as you said, as we were talking about earlier. they tested this capsule, its ability to separate, get away from the rocket booster itself in three different stages. they did one early test, i believe it was in 2012 one of the earliest tests they did, get the capsule separating from the rocket while it was here on the ground. right, on the pad. they also did another launch escape test while it was during the ascent while it was in space. they tested it, and it worked perfectly, the company is saying. i want to point out we re still in a brief hold, anderson. we don t know why, but they are strapped in. the hatch is closed. you can see you see those almost curtain-like things. i want to point out to the audience, those are solar shades to prevent the capsule from getting hot, environmental controls. they have to make sure it doesn t get too hot outside, and ....
