Suspicious substance sent to Nashville government building, fire department says


Authorities have given an all clear after investigating a suspicious envelope that was sent to Nashville s legal department Wednesday morning, according to city officials. 
The first floor of the Metro Courthouse was evacuated shortly after a  suspicious substance was delivered around 10 a.m. Two people who came in contact with the item were isolated isolated as Hazmat crews arrived on scene to investigate. 
The Nashville Fire Department said the envelope was removed from the building and that no dangerous substances were identified.
The FBI will be conducting an investigation.
Metro s legal and finances departments is on the other side of the mayor s office on the first floor.  ....
