Baguio to implement 'no plate, no travel' ordinance
NO PLATE, NO TRAVEL.Motor vehicles without plate numbers will no longer be allowed to ply Baguio City's streets as the local government implements the "no plate, no travel" ordinance. The City Engineering Office-Traffic and Transport Management Division (CEO-TTMD) had earlier reported that 2,166 license plates of motor vehicles and motorcycles were confiscated from 2010 to 2020 which have not yet been claimed by the owners due to "high" fines the city imposes on traffic violations.
