Along the coast of california, the northwest and interior sections won t get that moisture. there s the drought monitor, extreme to exceptional drought and that s spreading into the northern plains. that s going to be an ongoing situation for the next couple weeks. wildfires, 83 of them, over 100 acres, that s not going to help. some of the thunderstorms could cause dry lightning and the potential for spreading of wildfires. hot, hazy, humid across the u.s., we re starting to get into july and august heat there. 89 in new york, we see the thunderstorms developing across the southwest. heat p. advisories, many postedespecials states, up to the northwest and northern rockies. we have wildfire smoke again getting into the midwest and then traveling towards the northeast tomorrow, so that s pretty incredible. we ll continue to monitor that forecast. also watching a developing system off the coast of the carolinas, we don t think it s going to develop but we will certainly keep an eye on it ....
