Heatwave Warning: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued a heat wave alert in a few parts of the nation. The government agency shared a map of India on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting the states that may experience a heatwave.
Heatwave conditions affect Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Kerala, and Karnataka. Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal also experienced hot weather. High temperatures recorded in various regions, exceeding normal levels by 4-8°C in some areas.
