Hanukkah officially begins tonight and many of the traditional public celebrations like chocolate gelt drops, shopping-center menorah lightings have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, there s still plenty of activities to do safely to celebrate the holiday. You can see the list of activities below:
Livestream the Skirball’s Hanukkah Festival
The Skirball’s annual holiday extravaganza, complete with candle-lighting, sing-alongs and the Hanukkah story told via a puppetry performance will be on YouTube this year at 3 p.m. on December 13. Registration is free, you just have to RSVP by noon tomorrow in order to receive a Zoom link to the show-and-tell. Additional information and RSVP links are available at skirball.org.
