The five Mexican nationals killed in a helicopter crash in eastern Nepal near Mount Everest on Tuesday visited India before touring the Himalayan nation for sightseeing.
"An incident involving a Simrik Air helicopter 9N - AJZ took place in Siprung of Sankhuwasabha district. Out of five persons who were on board, three (including the pilot) have been transported to Medicity Hospital, Kathmandu for additional medical attention," the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal tweeted.
A helicopter belonging to a private Nepalese helicopter service provider crashed in eastern Nepal on Friday, killing one person and leaving four others, including the pilot, injured, an official statement said.
