An internet service provider says it will use tens of millions of dollars in federal funding to expand high-speed internet access in western Montana. The Missoula Police Department says three female juveniles were taken into custody Wednesday regarding alleged threats made against Hellgate High School.

Hellgate High School went into a lockdown on Wednesday following a social media threat. No law enforcement agency was spared in the response.

4:19 p.m. update: The Missoula Police Department announced in a Facebook post that it detained multiple individuals connected to the social media threat that locked down Hellgate High School.

There is no longer an active threat to the public and officers are no longer seeking a person of interest after three people were detained.
