May 7, 2021 BENEFIT: The “No Tiger Fights Alone” fundraiser to help Howland High School student Sandra Rose will be held 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Howland Tiger Stadium. Sandra has been battling COVID-19, diabetes and other health issues at the Cleveland Clinic. The fundraiser will include a drive-thru dinner, 50-50 raffle, cornhole, basket raffle and bake sale. Apr 23, 2021 GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP: The Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District kicked off its litter cleanup campaign this month. The summerlong program called the Great American Cleanup is part of a national campaign through Keep America Beautiful. Local volunteers receive trash bags, litter grabbers, safety vests and gloves. All cleanup volunteers will receive Earth Day T-shirts, while supplies last.
