I love medieval history since I have been able to trace some of my ancestors back to Medieval England so the idea of “The King” appealed to me. Henry IV disinherits his eldest son Hal, (Timothee Chalamet), a wayward prince who has turned his back on royal life and is living among the people, in favor of his younger son Thomas. When Thomas is killed in battle and King Henry IV dies, Hal is now crowned Henry V. Hal must navigate palace politics, the wars his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life, including his relationship with his closest friend and mentor, the aging alcoholic knight, John Falstaff (Joel Edgerton). ....
