Daring, a Los Angeles, CA-based plant-based chicken maker, raised $40M in Series B funding. The round was led by D1 Capital Partners with participation from Drake and existing investors Maveron and Palm Tree Crew. The company intends to use the funds to triple its internal team by the end of 2021 and scale its retail and foodservice growth.
