Iconic British bootmaker Dr Martens, beloved by punk rockers, mods and goths, has announced its intention to become a publicly-traded company. The group, currently owned by private equity firm Permira, has experienced a substantial sales boost in recent times despite the coronavirus pandemic causing widespread damage to apparel labels.
