A nightmare has haunted John Morlock since he was 20.
As the nation celebrates Memorial Day on Monday, several upcoming events in Mid-Missouri are planned to honor veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Drafted into aviation electronics for the Army during the Vietnam War, Bill Lipskoch witnessed helicopter crashes while serving overseas and lost several friends to combat.
Heroes Outreach Program founder JOHN MORLOCK has quite the story to tell. A onetime paramedic in the military, upon his return to society, like many veterans, John experienced PTSD; his PTSD was so severe that he took a gun and blew the top of his head off. (He's alive today because "doctors are just better at keeping me alive than I am at killing myself.") In an effort to curb others from doing something similar, John created the Heroes Outreach Program. January 12, 2022
