Essex County Council has published a notice in this week’s edition of the Guardian detailing an order to stop vehicles from using Wake Road (known locally as Manor Road) in High Beech, Waltham Abbey, between its junctions with Wellington Hill and Pauls Nursery Road, primarily during evening and overnight. The “experimental prohibition” order will come into operation on April 30 and is due to last for a maximum of 18 months.
