No evacuations yet for the Lone Pine fire, which is in Six Rivers National Forest and Hoopa Valley Tribal land south of Hoopa near Tish Tang ridge. But an evacuation advisory has been issued by the Hoopa Office of Emergency Services for those close to the blaze — this means that residents should prepare for a possible evacuation and learn their evacuation zone. This advisory is for residents north of the Bigfoot Scenic Byway and those south and east of Tish Tang Road.
The Smith River Complex is a group of 11 fires burning in Gasquet. The largest fire in the group, the Holiday Fire, has been estimated to be about 100 acres, according to the U.S. Forest Service's Six Rivers National Park unit.
