Six years after the release of Sex, Fame & Murder: The Luka Magnotta Story (pictured), a documentary exploring Canadian Luka Magnotta’s murder of a Chinese student, the film’s producer Hiltz Squared Media is working on a followup. The Montreal-based company has optioned the rights to the book My Son The Killer, co-written by Magnotta’s mother Anna Yourkin and Brian Whitney. The deal was negotiated between Hiltz Squared and publisher Wild Blue Press. Pre-production is currently underway on the follow-up doc, tentatively titled After the Cats.
