Dark Drama JOHN AND THE HOLE Now Debuts Chilling First Trailer
IFC Films recently released the trailer for their highly anticipated thriller John and the Hole. The dark drama tells the story of a boy treading the liminal space between childhood and growing up. The film’s lead is Charlie Shotwell ( The Nest) who plays the film’s title character. John is a quiet kid who has concerns about transitioning into adulthood. The trailer is partially narrated by his mother, played by Jennifer Ehle fresh out of the excellent A24 joint Saint Maud. She expresses deep concern about her son’s demeanor, and with good reason.
