Douglas Wayne ‘Captain Doug’ Batson CAROLINA BEACH — Beloved husband and daddy, Douglas Wayne “Captain Doug” Batson went to be with Jesus and our Caleb, Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, after a long and brave struggle with Parkinson’s. He was dearly loved and cared for and is supremely missed by his wife of 46 years, Mary; and by the children he treasured, Drake, Savannah (James), Mark (Kelly), Holly (Jonathan), John (Chesson), Jessa (Taylor) and Peter.
