The next time you take a gallery hop around Savannah, you’ll have a new place to see artwork: Gallery Hop Atomica.
“We love puns around here,” said gallery manager, brewer, and self-proclaimed ‘master fermentation geek’ Chance Farago, “Like we had a potato dish and we called it ‘Hop Potato.’ We’re working on a little frozen pizza thing that we’re calling the ‘Hop Pocket.’
“It’s cheesy but we like it.”
Hop Atomica, a microbrewery and gastropub in Baldwin Park, opened last July at 535 East 39th Street in an area that guaranteed that it would cater almost exclusively to neighborhood residents. With the new exhibition component now integrated into the space, Farago is adding local artists to the menu.
