The next time you take a gallery hop around Savannah, you’ll have a new place to see artwork: Gallery Hop Atomica. “We love puns around here,” said gallery manager, brewer, and self-proclaimed ‘master fermentation geek’ Chance Farago, “Like we had a potato dish and we called it ‘Hop Potato.’ We’re working on a little frozen pizza thing that we’re calling the ‘Hop Pocket.’ “It’s cheesy but we like it.” Hop Atomica, a microbrewery and gastropub in Baldwin Park, opened last July at 535 East 39th Street in an area that guaranteed that it would cater almost exclusively to neighborhood residents.
