High pressure will move into place by this afternoon, which will bring a surge of cold air to start the weekend. The winds will be picking up close to 20 mph causing the light snow to blow and giving the state dangerous wind chills. A wind chill advisory is in effect for areas north of i80 starting at 6 pm and lasting until 8 am saturday. The cold air mass and the strong winds will make it feel close to 30 by early saturday.
