As of 1 p.m. Saturday, 12% of the Guam Power Authority system load, the amound of power needed for customers, had been restored, according to the Joint Information Center.
With Typhoon Mawar moving away from the island, Guam has returned to Condition of Readiness 4.
Once the winds die down and the danger has passed, Guam Power Authority will begin making repairs and reconnecting power.
