At 6:22 p.m. on Thursday, Longmont police responded to the 1600 Block of Hover Street to investigate an assault.
Dear Johnnie: I notice an unused lane on Bent Way at the intersection with Hover Street. On Bent Way there is a left turn lane with an arrow, a straight lane with an arrow and a right turn lane with an arrow. Between the left and straight lanes there is what appears to be an empty lane with white angle strips. What is the purpose of this lane? Not an additional left turn lane? — Barb Dear Barb: It’s an additional left-turn lane that is not in use.
