On August 8, 2018, pursuant to Sec. 46.1 of the Police Act, the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) was directed to investigate a serious injury following an interaction with RCMP officers in Stony Plain. ASIRT’s investigation is now complete.

On Sept. 20, 2017, pursuant to Sec. 46.1 of the Police Act, Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) was directed to investigate the shooting of a male individual by officers of the Calgary Police Service (CPS). ASIRT’s investigation is now complete.

Investigations concluded on four files

On April 26, 2018, pursuant to Sec. 46.1 of the Police Act, Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) was directed to investigate allegations of assault and sexual assault from an event on Aug. 4, 2017. One Lethbridge Police Service officer was designated as a subject officer in ASIRT’s investigation, which is now complete.
