MARSHALL, Texas - A logging crew found skeletal remains while working in Harrison County on Tuesday morning, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office said.
Authorities confirmed late last week that remains discovered in November were those of a Quinlan man who had been reported missing for more than six years.
According to the HCSO, Chambers' remains were sent to the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification in Fort Worth to be examined for identification.
Chambers, of Quinlan, was first reported missing in March 2017.
Remains found late last year in rural Rains County have been identified as retired Dallas firefighter Michael Chambers.
