Carbon capture and hydrogen schemes central to UK's £1bn decarbonisation strategy
Carbon capture, usage and storge (CCUS) and hydrogen projects are among key initiatives to gain investment as part of the government’s new Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy, announced today. The strategy is “an ambitious blueprint” to deliver the world’s first low-carbon industrial sector and includes over £1bn of funding to cut emissions from industry, schools and hospitals.
