Bicyclist killed in Turlock hit and run collision The Turlock Police Department is looking for a Mercedes Benz and the driver who was involved in a fatal hit and run Saturday night. The deceased was identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office as Johnny Romo, 44, of Turlock. Romo was riding a bicycle in the area of N. Front Street near the intersection of Almond Avenue around 7 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by the vehicle. The police department was notified of the collision, but it’s unknown who called 911.
