BICOM 16th April 2021 BBC News reports that a group of Egyptian architects won the bid to reconstruct the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul which was destroyed by the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group. The winning bid was one of 123 designs submitted to the  UN’s “Revive the Spirit of Mosul” project.
