Tanzanian pretending to be disabled caught begging in Kenya, makes over K140, 000 a day
Kenyan authorities in Mombasa County have nabbed a 23-year-old Tanzanian national who was making a killing by begging money from unsuspecting Kenyans by posing as a disabled mother in the streets. According to Ibrahim Basafar, the County inspectorate Deputy Director in charge of operations, his officers acted on a tip off from members of the public who reported a suspicious group of foreigners plying in that ‘trade’ in Momabasa.
