Idit Ohel's son, Alon Ohel, was taken hostage by Hamas at the Nova music festival during the Oct. 7 attacks. She says the past six months — or 184 days — have been extremely difficult for her family.

Thousands of protesters rallied in Jerusalem on Sunday demanding the release of about 130 hostages still being held in Gaza after six months of Israel's war against Hamas.

Support is spreading among musicians for Alon Ohel, seized on October 7 and believed to be captive in Hamas’s dungeons.

Alon Ohel was taken in the early hours of Oct. 7. He is a talented pianist, and his mother believes that music can keep them connected: "It's not the hearing — it's the vibe, it's the energy."
