No fewer than six suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra have been killed by the Operation UDO KA in Igboro Forest, Arochukwu LGA of Abia State on Saturday.
Joint troops of 82 Division, Nigerian Army and the Police have neutralized 3 combatants of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed affiliate, Eastern Security Network (ESN) in Abia.
This was contained in a statement by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu.
Some police operatives took part in the operation, the army said.
