Hundreds of thousands of people in the Netherlands play chess or are interested in one of its numerous aspects. Some 20,000 are organized: they belong to a chess club. Quite a few people have found the way to the Max Euwe-Centrum, but many have no idea at all of its facilities and possibilities. ChessBase India's Sagar Shah and Amruta Mokal, who were reporting on the Levitov Chess Week, visited the tournament venue and the chess museum, and give us a complete video tour!

Ian Nepomniachtchi collected four wins and a loss on the final day of action at the Levitov Chess Week to claim clear tournament victory with 12½ (out of 18) points. Nepo had also won the first edition of the event sponsored by Ilya Levitov back in 2019. An exciting first day of action saw Levon Aronian grabbing the lead at the Levitov Chess Week rapid tournament in Amsterdam. Aronian collected three wins and two draws to end the day as the only player with a 4/5 score.
