With your news to go, the superintendent of the school district of Palm Beach County has confirmed students will return to in person learning on August 10. This would end simultaneous instruction. We're told parents of students enrolled in the Palm Beach virtual school will receive an email soon about enrollment there for the fall Bahamas Paradise Cruise line is now booking new trips for this summer. The company says it relaunched its website today and now customers can start buying tickets for sailing beginning on july 2nd when the Grand Classic A makes a return to the Bahamas. In a statement, The cruise line thanks governor to Santa's for his most recent efforts to help them return to sailing. This comes as the governor announced a lawsuit yesterday suing the federal government and the C. D. C. Over the ongoing no sale order. A. U. S. House panel is launching an ethics probe into florida Congressman Matt Gates. The congressman himself acknowledged he is under federal investigation for sex trafficking allegations involving an underage girl. The committee sites, those reports and other potential misconduct. Sunday morning is fine, but by sunday afternoon, watch the top of the screen. Look at that heavy rain moving toward the Palm beaches and the Treasure Coast, unlikely to see severe storms that should be much farther north, but we're going to get a much needed soaking on sunday. With your news to go. The City of West Palm Beach opens a new mass vaccination site tomorrow. It's located in gains Park, and it aims to distribute 1000 vaccine doses a week. It will be open each week from Thursday through Saturday. The vaccination site is expected to run through July. You can only get your shot by appointment. You can sign up online and protect WP be dot com or call 561 203 687 Mayor Keith James says he hopes putting the vaccine site in Gains Park, which is on North Australian Avenue near 15th Street, will increase access to the vaccines for all communities. Publix did not open its vaccine appointment portal this morning. The company says there will not be any new appointments this weekend because of the Easter holiday. Anyone with a second dose appointment is not affected by this. The next chance to book an appointment will be Friday at 7 a.m. Today. A Palm Beach County father accused of starving his 13 month old daughter to death pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. Alejandro Aleman accepted a plea deal and received a 20 year prison sentence. His daughter, Taylor reportedly weighed only £7 when she died in 2016. Court Document suggests nine other Children were living in quote deplorable conditions at a woman's home. The girl's mother, Kristin Meyer, took a plea deal last October and was sentenced to 23 years in prison tonight. Investigators in Los Angeles say they have determined what caused Tiger Woods to crash his SUV last month, but they won't release the details, citing privacy concerns for the golf star.
