Challenge of making sure you re not sending kids back who do have legal ability to stay in the united states, whether they have an asylum claim, whether they are entitled to be here. and quite frankly, thing is some politics here. the administration is facing some complicated democratic politics as well of treating kids from latin american countries in what would be viewed as pretty harsh terms if you don t provide them some process. so i think you have a policy reason for this differentiation and a political reason for why the administration is asking for more discretion, but not asking for a repeal of the law. that s interesting. david, do you agree with that, there is a political dimension to not asking for repeal? tom coburn is saying look, you could probably get a repeal in two week. i think the president is walking two fine lines. one is domestic politics. he wants to be tough about the borders. but he also wants to be compassionate, especially towards the latino community an ....
