SHAH ALAM, June 9 — Selangor is expected to receive its own batches of the Covid-19 vaccine from the end of June, the state’s Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said.
Amirudin said the state government’s discussions with the vaccine manufacturer — whom he declined to reveal at a virtual press conference later — but confirmed to be the one approved by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, was concluded on June 1.

ALOR SETAR, May 26 — A total of 10,827 individuals who registered as Covid-19 vaccine recipients in the state failed to turn up for their vacination appointment between April 19 and May 22.
Kedah Health director Dr Mohd Fikri Ujang said the number involved 35 per cent of the 30,100 individuals who had registered and were given appointments through the MySejahtera application under the second phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme implementation.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 — A total of 732,305 individuals have completed two doses of vaccine jabs under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of yesterday, according to Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.
He said they were among 1,182,133 individuals who have received the first dose, taking the total number of doses administered in the country so far to 1,914,438.

KOTA BARU, May 7 — Six thousand youths have been mobilised throughout the country in the effort to ensure the success of vaccine dispensing under National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 — National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin stressed that private sector Covid-19 vaccination programme will only start after there is enough supply for the general public.
Responding to the programme in question dubbed Public Private Partnership (PPP) Immunisation Model that was specifically designed to assist workers for manufacturing and related services to receive Covid-19 vaccine jab on-site, Khairy added that the programme was an expression of interest and is yet to start.
