Sentai Filmworks previously brought out the sprawling Legend of Galactic Heroes classic series done as an $800 box set limited to 1000 units. While they had a limited kind of promo for it previously that you can see below, Sentai Filmworks has put their trailer on their YouTube channel for it that they had on various home video releases. The series is still streaming on HIDIVE and they still have some sets available on their site, though it’s not seen a price drop at all. Check out our Thirty Years Later article on the series. This sprawling 110 episode OVA series ran between 1988 and 1997 and had several spinoffs have been highly sought after (and hard to acquire for many years). It’s set for a limited edition release for July 2018 through Sentai’s shop only and not through any traditional retailers while noting that this is the only release they’re doing – no regular editions coming later.
