ISO Certification: Two town panchayats in Coimbatore bag ISO certification for good governance | Coimbatore News
Two town panchayats in Coimbatore, Sulur and Mopperipalayam, have received ISO 9001:2015 certification for good governance and implementing various schemes with corporate social responsibility funds. Sulur town panchayat processes 8,500kg of solid waste daily and sells bio-enriched organic manure produced from wet garbage to farmers. Mopperipalayam town panchayat has installed over 100 CCTV cameras and created three mini-forests with 10,000 trees on 10 acres.
