69th annual drive-thru Christmas story display lights up Lehnertz Avenue in Aurora
On Dec. 13, Father Matthew McMorrow, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Aurora, blesses the 69th annual Lehnertz Avenue Christmas story display with music, statues and wooden cutouts on 45 neighbors' lawns. Check out the drive-through display, on Lehnert Avenue from Sheridan Avenue to Ohio Street, from 5 to 10:30 p.m. through Jan. 1.

The 69th annual Lehnertz Avenue drive-through Christmas story display on Aurora's far east side opened Sunday, Dec. 13, when Father Matthew McMorrow of Aurora's St. Joseph Catholic Church blessed a manger scene, the display's centerpiece. The blessing was livestreamed on Facebook and Instagram.
