Last week saw the highest levels of coronavirus infections ever reported across uk — according to the office for national statistics. the infection survey found that nearly 1.3 million people in the uk — around one in 55 people — would have tested positive for coronavirus in the week to last friday. but the survey does not cover the week that's just ending, where the daily number of infections has appeared to be beginning to fall. and today the government has urged secondary school pupils in england to get themselves tested before retruning to school after half term to try and avoid furt...
