One program, under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, WIOA, is for Adults (18+) who need assistance with finding work and or going back to school; and another program, the Youth Work Experience program, targets In-School Youth ages 14 â 21 and Out of School youth ages 16-24. The work experience program provides youth an opportunity to obtain paid work experience in a field that matches their interests. All interested people should try to go to the event in their home parish, but if you don t see your parish listed and you re interested, you can still fill out an application and staff will get it to your parish program.
